People always say they want honesty, but do they really? The truth is sometimes unkind and can hurt like a son-of-a-bitch.
The boyfriend and I recently had a conversation, he asked a question, I gave him an honest answer, and then his ego went into the witness protection program.
So hence the question, Is honesty really the best policy?

I think honesty is the best policy, but not necessarily for either of the people involved. Sometimes it's easier to lie. Sometimes it's nicer to lie. I'd ask Santa what he thinks and go with that!
