I recently turned 38, actually it was yesterday and I have to say, that I feel much wiser. I know its only been one day, but one day is 1000 years when using the JC calendar. Turning 38 has made me realize that it's OK to say No!, it's OK not to be a martyr, it's OK to love someone and at the same time dislike them with a passion, and it's OK to just let go (see I told you I was much wiser). Please don't think that I didn't already now this stuff, I knew it but chose not to do anything, but that type of thinking ended yesterday when 37 walked out of my life.
That being said, this is what I've always known, the true friends that I have now, will be my friends forever, when I fall in love I fall hard, I love my son unconditionally, I will fight my way onto the bus headed for heaven, I am smart, I am beautiful, I have a great sense of humor, I am worthy of all great things, and I am happy.
So 38, welcome to the beginning of the rest of your life.....
