Last night I had my very own mini-PITY PARTY for one ...sigh (cue the violins). On several occassions I have helped firends or family buy gifts for their significant other, or give tips on how to decorate their home, and sometimes I even give relationship advice. Side note: I believe in my previous life I was a stylist.
Yesterday I did a good deed and helped two people pick out X.mas gifts for their better halves. I was feeling all good because on X.mas day these people will be waking up to awesome gifts. Then it hit me, is anybody helping someone pick out gifts for me? Is anyone calling my friends or family to ask what awesome gift I would like to wake up to? The answer to both of those questions is a big fat NADA, ZICLH, NO... So it's another X.mas with no gifts under the tree for me.
