Dear Bug,
You turned 9 years old today, and I am honored that I got to be your mother for another year. Sometimes it was a struggle but we both made it out without too many scratches. You are the smartest, funniest, kind-hearted, and most lovable kid ever, and everyday you make me want to be a better person. I am proud of everything you do even if I don't always say it. I am grateful that I get to spend another year getting you know you and learn from you.
